One of the biggest tests of our leadership, humility, vulnerability, and growth mindset is the ability to embrace failure and mistakes in not only ourselves but our teams in order to innovate, grow and succeed.
I personally love the phrase "Investing in loss" originated from Martial Arts like Tai Chi, it has various definitions but I interpret this phrase as the willingness to accept setbacks and losses as a means to learn, progress, and achieve excellence in our respective fields, it really is where the magic can happen!
It is one of the reasons why love Martial Arts such MMA, BJJ, Karate and Taekwondo so much is that they are so valuable tools that allow particpants to fail, often, in a safe environment, learning the importance of humilty and failure and developing strategies to overcome it.
